![]() ![]() Always finish each Tale you start before moving on to the next! Step 2: Liberating all Areas / Enemy Outposts (collect all resources you can find in camps to fully upgrade your Sword & Sakai Clan Armor)Īfter the Story all remaining Mongol Camps get marked on the map automatically (red icons). You don’t want to spend 60 hours and then come back to it only to realize it has a game-breaking progression bug. ![]() Also don’t start a Side Tale and leave it incomplete. If you have a game-breaking bug, the only way to fix it is by reloading an old Manual Save. Make it a habit to always make a Manual Save each mission and when you run out of save slots, always overwrite the oldest one. At least once every hour, or even better after every Quest. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to make Manual Saves regularly. There’s about a 20% chance of this happening at some point throughout the game. Game-Breaking Progression Bugs Warning: There are lots of reports of quest markers bugging out and entire main- or side quests becoming impossible to complete. Should you get stuck at any mission, refer to the Ghost of Tsushima Walkthrough (All Tales). Then you’d have to rely on random enemy patrols which would make this more tricky. Once you’ve liberated all camps you can’t reset them. It’s best to do this at Mongol Outposts, because enemies are placed in fixed positions there. Or at least get it while you still have a few Occupied Mongol Territories left. Try to get trophy “Have a Nice Fall” early (kicking someone off a ledge to make them die from falling damage). It also allows you to press on the world map to be led to the next artifact automatically. You unlock it for free by talking to merchants, for example the one at the Hiyoshi Survivor Camp. Wear the Traveler’s Armor to make the controller vibrate when artifacts & records are nearby (upgrading this armor a little bit is okay).Upgrading the Sword unlocks “The Perfect Storm” and fully upgrading the Sakai Clan Armor is required for “All in the Wrist”. Keep all your Supplies for these, don’t waste too many Supplies on other things (but putting a few into bow upgrades is okay, just don’t put it all into pointless armor upgrades that you’ll never need). The only trophy-relevant Weapon/Armor upgrades are for fully upgrading the “Sakai Katana” (your sword) and the “Sakai Clan Armor” (automatic unlock in Act 2).You need a lot of supplies to fully upgrade your sword and the Sakai Clan Armor. Supplies are essentially the “money” in this game. It’s obtained from Shinto Shrine Collectible: Arrow Peak Shrine in Region 1. Equipping the Charm “Charm of Inari” is very useful, it increases the amount of Supplies you find. There are just a few things you should keep in mind for maximum efficiency: There are no difficulty-related trophies and you can switch difficulties at any time. Most players should be able to achieve platinum in 50 hours when playing on easy difficulty. There are 3 regions in total (the 3rd region is shorter). Each region takes another 15 hours or so to clear. The story on its own takes about 15 hours to complete. Cutscenes and dialogues in this game are unskippable. You can already work on side tasks during the story if you like. Nothing is missable, you can get everything after the story in free-roam. The rest is a couple of miscellaneous trophies. 90% of trophies will come naturally while working on those tasks. Just finish the story, liberate all regions, do all Side Tales (Quests), and find the various types of Collectibles. It’s an easy platinum that is purely completion-based. It’s doable for players of all skill levels and nothing difficult like Dark Souls games (similar to Assassin’s Creed in difficulty).
